Publishers who work with us.
From the academic publisher to the general list, from the music publisher to the professional media house: since 2005 we have been shaping publishing software around the processes of real houses. What has come of that is best said by our customers themselves.
Publishers who work with juni.com
What publishers say about working with us.
The following voices refer to work with open.junixx.FM, the previous version. We reproduce them unchanged and are currently gathering new voices on open.junixx.
The straightforward operation of open.junixx.FM lets us work on our data ourselves. And if we do run into difficulties, we have a reliable contact in juni.com to support us in what we are doing.
open.junixx.FM lets us manage the web shop built for us by juni.com in the best possible way. We use the publishing software as a CMS, enriching the titles arriving in the web shop with metadata so that they can be presented online to best effect.
With the help of open.junixx.FM we manage our dispatch of inspection and review copies, among other things through the press module, that is, the provision of free copies to potential multipliers such as lecturers or reviewers. In the past we had to coordinate a lot of the work in this area by hand; oj.FM takes those steps off us and automates a great deal.
A report from practice: the app in use
At Münchner Verlagsgruppe it is above all the app's scanning function that is used, to determine stock levels faster and more effectively.
We have already had the FileMaker app in use twice in combination with our open.junixx.FM database. Our apprentices managed the stocktake of our in-house stock here at the publishing house with their phones with no trouble at all. Instead of filling in printed lists, scanning and entering the stock figures through the app worked very conveniently, and we saved several hours.
At the Frankfurt Book Fair we were then able to make price queries simply and quickly through a laptop with a scanner and through our colleagues' phones on stand duty, which replaced the tiresome searching through lists. On the Sunday of the fair, which is always given over to selling books, we then used this possibility for sales as well and recorded every book sold with its quantity and discount. At the end, with no effort at all, there was a list of every book sold, ready for accounting.
